• Autism is one type of five Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD)
• Autism Spectrum Disorders are developmental brain disorders.
• The other types of Autism Spectrum Disorders are rett syndrome, asperger syndrome, childhood disintegrative disorder, and persuasive developmental disorder.

• More people are diagnosed with autism this year than AIDS, diabetes and cancer combined.
